George (I refuse to call him president) Bush has vetoed the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). This act further proves his lack of caring for everyday working people and their families. One of his claims was this program is a step toward socialized medicine. And what's so bad aboot that eh?
Obviously the drug and insurance companies would suffer and of course Bush couldn't let that happen. They're some of his biggest campaign contributors. Instead, let more than 3.8 million of children without health care do the suffering for them. And with a stroke of his pen that's exactly what Bush did. I think it's disgusting......
